Laphroaig 10 Years Old has been distilled in the same way for almost 75 years. The barley malt is dried over a peat fire, peat that comes exclusively from the island of Islay and which gives Laphroaig its particular flavor.
The result is a full-bodied whiskey with a smoky taste and surprising sweetness.
