Alla vista si presenta di colore ambra chiaro. Al naso è dolce e fruttato, con sentori di albicocca e di pera, cui seguono aromi di vaniglia e di rovere tostato. In bocca è speziato e piccante, con sentori di limone, mela, miele ed un finale affumicato di media lunghezza.
Si può gustare liscio o freddo con ghiaccio, oppure può prendere parte alla composizione di raffinati cocktail.
Talisker Skye is a single malt Scotch Whiskey that best expresses the characteristics of the whiskeys of the homonymous Isle of Skye. It ages in refill and toasted American oak barrels before being bottled.
At sight it has a light amber color. The nose is sweet and fruity, with hints of apricot and pear, followed by aromas of vanilla and toasted oak. In the mouth it is spicy and spicy, with hints of lemon, apple, honey and a medium-length smoky finish.
It can be tasted straight or cold with ice, or it can take part in the composition of refined cocktails.
